There's plenty to do on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal Plumbago
One thing's for sure, you'll never get board!

The Umtamvuna Nature Reserve is famous for its spectacular views of the deep Umtamvuna River Gorge. It has the best nature walks along the entire KwaZulu-Natal coastline, including a few strenuous hikes.

Along the way, you will see rare and endemic trees and plant species in a diversity of habitats, with magnificent wild flower displays after the spring rains. You may also observe a large colony of the endangered Cape Vulture. You can explore the perimeter of the gorge from the top and then wend your way through coastal forest and down along the banks of the river.
